The Associations

Beyond events, concerts, exhibitions, and conferences, Convergència manages the House of Occitania. As a key location for exchange and synergy among the actors of Occitan life, it brings together more than 90 associations working to promote the Occitan identity.

By welcoming the public, providing a communication service and administrative resources (room and equipment rental made available…). Convergència has developed a coherent and structured cultural project to promote Occitan by the dissemination of the Occitan artistic production to promote the Occitan culture.
Our aim? To create a momentum for the Occitan language and culture. To promote those involved in teaching, cultural dissemination, training, radio, music, and Occitan publishing…
To transmit and create to enable cultural plurality. And ultimately to contribute to ethics, tolerance, secularism, living together, and the dynamism of our cities and regions.
